About

The idea behind this site is to post the occasional tech “stuff” I encounter while working in Linux and my home lab. Hopefully the items I post will be educational to the occasional reader who may find my post beneficial to their tech life.

I work in the Technology field as a Linux Systems Administrator contractor at NASA on the Artemis program. In the past I have worked with IBM and NetApp storage; Dell, HP, IBM, and Lenovo servers; Cisco and Ubiquiti networking; Windows, VMware ESXi, and various Linux operating systems. Because I love my career so much I enjoy technology outside of the work place also. When I’m not exploring new tech gadgets, working on my computers, or tweaking my local home lab, I generally enjoy video games, movies, reading, and spending time with my family. On my desktop dual-boot I use Windows 10 for games that don’t run on Linux (Insurrection: Sandstorm and Minecraft Bedrock) and Fedora workstation for my day-to-day use. Fedora workstation is also running on my laptops and my family’s computers.

My home lab consist of Red Hat physical and virtual servers and Ubiquiti network devices.

To sum it up, I’m a tech geek.
